Let yourself feel all emotions and listen to music!
This is day 3 of confinement but it feels like a week already. As the world is changing in front of our eyes, our own lives are changing. Most of us can't work and confine ourselves at home. It is a real challenge. Our lives have been turned upside down in a matter of days and we need to adjust to this difficult situation.
When you spend time in confinement, limited in your movements, limited in what you can do, stuck in one place, far from your friends and your family, you experience a whole spectrum of emotions, from the worst to the best and in reverse. Your mind can become a roller coaster of emotions that you can't control. Many can fall into a Coronavirus anxiety that is fed by the information provided by the ongoing and uninterrupted media coverage of the pandemic.
But there is relief to this. Have you seen confined and quarantined people singing and playing music at their windows and on their balcony? Have you seen artists live-streaming at home concerts for their fans?
Music is an universal language and it connects people.
"Music is what feeling sounds like."

I often heard that you should never shut your feelings down whether they are positive or negative. You are feeling happy, sad, impatient, frustrated, worried, anxious, sick, lonely, hopeful, hopeless, grateful or pessimistic about what will happen to the world in a few weeks, months or even tomorrow... It's normal.
Feel all those feelings. Let the music help you feel those feelings. Feeling is to be alive.
Allowing yourself to feel reveals what's real whether it's good or not but it will make you see them as they are and what they mean.
Music is therapy.
Music has always been my therapy and it saved my life. That's why I always listen to music. I do right now as I am writing!
Scientific studies proved that music boosts dopamine, lowers cortisone and makes you feel good.
Music has been my healer, especially in those though times and I want to share some quotes that I love. I hope it will help you cope with the crisis.
"Music was my refuge. I could crawl into the space between the notes and curl my back to the loneliness." M. Angelou
"Music is the moonlight in the gloomy night of life." J-P F Richter.
"I think music in itself is healing. It's an explosive expression of humanity. It's something we are all touched by. No matter what culture we're from, everyone loves music". B. Joel
"Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything." Plato
"The best music... is essentially there to provide you something to face the world with." B. Springsteen.
Listen to music and stay healthy!
